  Excellent, no-nonsense Mexican sit-down with great prices and a full bar. This is a "locals" restaurant: in a strip shopping center, next to a martial arts dojo, and light on decor. But it's all about the food, with a wide choice of "typical" Mexican fare, generous portions and great flavors. Carnitas, the traditional shredded pork entree, is a specialty, along with a good selection of South of the border seafood. All in all a great place to drop in for dinner and meet friends.

  It's your typical Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud or cramped. Accommodates smaller parties mostly, 2-4, with room for a larger party, 8+, at a single table. The food is above average and the menu isn't overly lengthy, but the selection is pretty regular. The tamales include a jalepeño slice which was a nice touch and the rice and beans were fresh made and we'll prepared. The chips and salsa that are served with each meal were average and only the first round of which is free. Service was typical of non-corporate establishments, a bit unrefined but sufficient. If you are in the area it's a real option, but if not there are similar or better option near you, probably.
